Dental Wonders!

I know many of you have seen these first two pictures....... but only two other people have seen the last two (only because I am very embarrassed of them). The only reason hardly no one has seen them is because I love my teeth...... you can ask my husband I am quite anal about them! I brush and floss them ALL the time, because I want to keep them for a VERY LONG TIME! And when they look funny I don't like showing them off!

Most of you know what happened on Thanksgiving. I got nailed in the mouth by a head and two teeth were knocked loose. One was completely broken off! Like the picture below shows....

It has been a long hard road of recovery, but am so very thankful for all the hands that have played a part in saving my teeth!

After receiving the root canal after the incident I had to go into my dentist and have him finish the root canal. He went into the tooth and cleaned it out, and put some medicine stuff inside. Then about two weeks later I went back in and had to have my tooth filed down. That was one dentist visit I HATED!!! Blood was going everywhere, not to mention the shots I had to have!!! Oh it was a very painful visit that made me HATE the dentist and not want to go back..... EVER again!! Anyways he put a cap on my filed down tooth, and sent my molds to the lab so they could build me a new tooth!
Then two more weeks later I went back in to get the newly made tooth put on!! That is where these pictures come from. I figured I better take pictures before they put my tooth on.

It is quite disgusting I know, it's like a have a baby tooth!

Well they finally put my tooth on and all I have to say is they did a GREAT JOB!!! You can't even tell I have a fake tooth in my mouth, the only one who can tell is my dentist because he is trained to see that sort of stuff!! I also found out that day that I am a NO CAVITY KID!! Which was music to my ears because that means I don't have to go see the dentist for a loooooong time!! Which makes me very very happy!! I also found out the other two teeth that were affected are doing GREAT!! It looks like they will stay alive, I am so glad my parents have a neighbor that's a dentist and that he was able to put my other tooth back in place quick enough to keep it alive!!!

Well my dog is finally done taking his bath, he got very dirty on our hike up Big Baldy. So I have to go dry him now!!! But thanks to all those who check this blog all the time! Don't be afraid to leave comments, I quite enjoy reading them! Also its OK to follow me as well!!
Until next time..... keep your stick on the ice we are all in this together!!!

  1. Your dentist sounds awesome! I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the shots. During school I got a shot up there because we were learning them and the anesthetic is an acid do it started burning as it went in and I totally started crying. But after that I've never had a problem. And if it makes You feel better, my 2 front teeth are both half fake. And I chip them often. I look like a crazy when it's not there. Who is your dentist by the way??

  2. His name is John Farley! He is an amazing dentist, my mom worked for him for a while, so he is a family friend of ours. Apparently he has relatives up here that are dentists too!!
